Acacia – 3-strip parquet flooring, available in colors and grades according to the price list.
Black locust (Latin: Robinia pseudoacacia), also known as acacia, is a deciduous tree from the Fabaceae family.
It originates from the southeastern United States, but today it is also widespread across North America, Europe and Asia.
In some areas it is considered an invasive species. It was introduced to Europe in 1601.
It grows well in sandy soils and is often used for afforestation and erosion control.
The wood is strong and high-quality, so it is used to make various products, including parquet flooring.
Thanks to naturally occurring flavonoids, acacia wood is exceptionally resistant and can last for a very long time even in contact with soil.
