Pre-finished three-layer parquet flooring with a lacquered or oiled surface and a click or tongue-and-groove system.
Description
Pre-finished three-layer parquet flooring is a factory-finished parquet board with a lacquered or oiled surface and a click or tongue-and-groove system, composed of three interconnected layers:
- Top layer – single-strip lamella 4.5 mm
- Middle layer – fir strips 8 mm thick
- Bottom layer – rotary-cut fir veneer 2 mm thick
The surface of the parquet flooring, or wear layer, is made mainly from the finest wood species. Not all species have the same degree of hardness, which is measured according to the Brinell scale.
The higher the Brinell value, the harder and more resistant the wood.
